Available details of the accident
Law enforcement authorities report that the accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. Apparently, a 45-year-old man was heading southbound on Highway 245 as a 19-year-old driver going north. For reasons yet to be determined, the southbound driver crossed into the traffic lanes of northbound vehicles. There was no initial speculation as to what may have caused the man to drive into oncoming traffic.
